Weaver Ring Mount | 30 mm | Screw

This mount is made for Weaver rails. Weaver is an older standard with narrower cross-slots than Picatinny.

Picatinny vs. Weaver:

Picatinny and Weaver are similar but not the same. The difference lies in the cross-slots (recoil slots):
• Picatinny: Slots are 5.23 mm wide with a center distance of 10.01 mm (fixed standard)
• Weaver: Slots are 4.57 mm wide with variable spacing (no fixed standard)

A Weaver mount can in many cases also be mounted on a Picatinny rail because the Weaver lug is narrower than the Picatinny slot. However, a Picatinny mount will NOT fit on a Weaver rail – the lug is too wide.

This mount fits Weaver rails and most Picatinny rails.

This mount is made of steel. Steel is the classic choice and provides high rigidity and durability. The material tolerates repeated mounting and dismounting without the contact surfaces deforming.

Steel is heavier than aluminum, but for a ring mount, the weight difference is practically minimal.

This assembly is blued. Bluing, also known as black oxidizing, is a chemical surface treatment that provides a nice, matte black finish and a degree of corrosion protection. It is the most traditional surface treatment for firearm components.

Bluing is less resistant than QPQ and requires a bit more care – a thin layer of oil after use in damp weather will keep the surface in good condition.

These rings have an internal diameter of 30 mm and fit rifle scopes with 30 mm tubes.

Always check your rifle scope's tube diameter before purchasing – it is listed in the scope's specifications or can be easily checked with a caliper.

Mounting is simple. The rings are attached to the Picatinny rail, and the scope is placed in the lower ring halves, after which the upper halves are tightened.

Manufacturer's recommendation:
• Torque for ring screws (top, M3.5): 1.8–2.0 Nm
• Torque for mounting to rail (M4): 2.0–2.5 Nm
• Ensure the scope is level and has correct eye relief before final tightening

A torque wrench is necessary for correct mounting. Overtightening can damage the scope's tube.
