Weaver Ring Mount | 34 mm | Screw

This mount is designed for Weaver rails. Weaver is an older standard with narrower cross slots than Picatinny.

Picatinny vs. Weaver:

Picatinny and Weaver are similar but not the same. The difference lies in the cross slots (recoil slots):
• Picatinny: Slots are 5.23 mm wide with a center-to-center distance of 10.01 mm (fixed standard)
• Weaver: Slots are 4.57 mm wide with variable spacing (no fixed standard)

A Weaver mount can often be mounted on a Picatinny rail because the Weaver lug is narrower than the Picatinny slot. However, a Picatinny mount will NOT fit on a Weaver rail – the lug is too wide.

This mount fits Weaver rails and most Picatinny rails.

This mount is made of steel. Steel is the classic choice, providing high rigidity and durability. The material tolerates repeated mounting and dismounting without deforming the contact surfaces.

Steel is heavier than aluminum, but for a ring mount, the weight difference is practically minimal.

This assembly is blued. Bluing, also known as black oxidizing, is a chemical surface treatment that provides a nice, matte black finish and a certain degree of corrosion protection. It is the most traditional surface treatment for firearm parts.

Bluing is less resistant than QPQ and requires a bit more care – a thin layer of oil after use in damp weather will keep the surface in good condition.

These rings have an internal diameter of 34 mm and are suitable for scopes with a 34 mm tube. 34 mm is typically used on high-end scopes with a large adjustment range.

Always check your scope's tube diameter before purchasing – it can be found in the scope's specifications or easily measured with a caliper.

Mounting is simple. The rings are attached to the Picatinny rail, and the scope is placed in the lower ring halves, after which the upper halves are tightened.

Manufacturer's recommendation:
• Torque for ring screws (top, M3.5): 1.8–2.0 Nm
• Torque for attachment to rail (M4): 2.0–2.5 Nm
• Make sure the scope is level and has correct eye relief before final tightening

A torque wrench is necessary for correct mounting. Overtightening can damage the scope's tube.
